I originally started this blog in 2010, when I was trying to get out of what I might call a "sumemr funk" and started painting. The blog was originally intended to serve as a type of visual record of what I haddone. But you know how life has a tendency to get in the way of things, and I started actually working more and painting less. And then after that ... well, I started graduate school and developed an interst in poetry.
Currently, I am working on my MFA in Creative Writing from The University of Texas-Pan American.
