Welcome to my new blog for my most current painted endeavors! I paint mostly decorative art (working on furmiture mainly). My mission for this blog is to post a new painted image on a regular -(my aim is weekly) - basis. This would also serve as a kind of scrapbook of my progression as an artist, as well as a visual record of the different media and materials I've worked on.
The pictures of painted pieces posted on this blog will be of one-of-a-kind art. Chances would be that once that table, frame, or canvas was painted and sold, I would not have another on hand to sell unless specifically requested. I would be more than happy to paint a similar product of the pictured art, but they will never be identical as THEY ARE ALL HAND-PAINTED ORIGINALS.
I'm posting a picture of my first painted item ever ... a decorator table with a sunflower landscape scene. It took me a week to complete this first table. And later I was able to progress to the point of painting up to two a day if asked to. However, recent discoveries of poorly produced decorator tables have made me decide to stop using them to paint on. So, I work mostly with canvas and other solid wood products.
